At work I happen to over here a conversation between a dad & son. The dad said your nuts! I’m amazing! The little boy then repeated, No! I’m amazing & your Nuts! This went back & forth for a little while. breaking the verge of annoying at this point. Then something every parent/people around a small impressionable child will experience, The little boy belts out “Dad your nuts…. are Amazing”! I of course have plenty of experience in what I like to call the “kid scramble”. AKA kids who are still learning new words that tend to mix them up in a funny way that can lead to extremely awkward moments in life. (usually takes place in a crowed room)
Of course I knew that the boy really meant, dad your nuts and I’m amazing” BUT that is not what the shocked people shopping thought. Yes people I gained humor from a parents embarrassment. What do you expect I was working…and it was comical seeing the red-faced dad trying to explain to the public that what came out was in fact wrong wording. 🙂 This sort of thing happens to Andy & I all the time. So has this happened to you?
